Sliding mode switch makes the Ultra way more usable that E5-plus. A short press to turn on is simple. Heavy duty belt clip is also great.

Prefer a short press to turn off too, and a long press to change brightness. User modifiable firmware would be great.

Would like the headlight light color to be the same as the side light.

There are many flat flashlights. New ones debut weekly. But how many have both a side flood light as well as an end light? How many have a night vision saving red light? The Klarus E5 ultra has this and more. For me this is the best of the best edc bug out lights hands down regards, features, price, and quality.

the new e5 flashlight is a great flashlight for its size allowing for comfortable carry and also bright enough for most small jobs, i use mine almost every day.

Excellent lumination, compact exactly what i wanted

I've purchased e5 ultra because nice green colour and the size is nice for my edc.
Im impress with amount of light from this tiny light source. I will buy some stuff from klarus again
